CDL Truck Driver

Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates class B  vehicles in the transportation of materials from vendor facilities and quarries, client's homes, job sites, facilities, and other locations as assigned.

• Responsibly and safely haul stone, asphalt, dirt, shale, waste, and any other materials required by employer.

• Ensuring safe loading and unloading of hauled materials.

• Safely securing loads as required by DOT and employer's rules.

• Ensure correct load is unloaded at the job site.

• Is friendly with customers and clients. Addressing their concerns and inquiries professionally.

• Keeping paperwork and records as required by the employer.

• Inspects truck for safety and legal compliance per DOT and employer requirements. 

• Works inside and outside year-round in different types of weather.

• Maintains the truck according to employer's requirements and standards. 

• Adhere to all employer's standards and work safely.

• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

 

Compensation

• Based on experience. Ranges from $20 to $30 per hour. 

• ​Full-time employees get sick time, vacation time, and paid holidays. 

 

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a current and valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

• At least 6 months prior Triaxle driving experience on a manual transmission.

• At least 6 months experience hauling aggregate.

• At least 6 months experience hauling blacktop.

• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens.

• Ability to read, write, and accurately follow oral and written instructions.

• Good physical condition. Position requires the ability to climb in and out of the truck numerous times a day. 

• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
